If you’re over 50, you might know the familiar feeling of stiffness after long workdays, an ache in your lower back, or the thought that yoga is “for flexible people.”

The truth is, yoga isn’t about touching your toes; it’s about reconnecting with your body and learning to move at your own pace.

My Story

I understand this because I started in the same place. Over a decade ago, I was training regularly at the gym but constantly struggled with lower back pain and tightness. I thought yoga was all about handstands and flexibility, until I discovered that it’s really about healing, awareness, and gentle progress.

It took me a while to come to this realisation; however, it has changed my life and it is the foundation of how I teach.

My purpose is to guide working professionals and adults over 50 to build strength, balance, and calm through simple, accessible yoga.

Growing up, I was raised by my grandparents. As they grew older, I often helped them move, stretch, and relieve tension through gentle postures and massage. That experience showed me how to nurture others through movement and the breath.

You don’t need to be flexible or experienced you just need curiosity and an open mind.
